Dr. John Raffetto is Chairman of Ambassador Care and an emeritus figure in the American HMO Movement and medical management industry. Dr. Raffetto and Dr. Miljenko Bura are co-founders of American Adriatic Health (AAH) headquartered in Washington D.C. In order to facilitate real estate development in the region, they are creating a network of qualified physicians and new and existing hospitals to accommodate Americans and Europeans and others expected to retiree here on a full or part-time basis. This medical network is being designed in accordance with state-of-the-art medical management systems and procedures  to link our doctors and hospitals with the various Social Security Health Plans in the EU as well as the hundreds of Medicare plans in the United States that offer worldwide coverage.

This network, managed by American Adriatic Health, will coordinate care and compensate our local hospital and doctors for services. Without American Adriatic Health retirees themselves are required to pay for services and then apply for reimbursement from the health plans.  We take the risk out of the proposition. We guarantee payment.  Seniors are protected!

Veterinarians will be included to care for the many dogs and cats that will retire here with their owners.

Establishing this medical network is of the greatest importance. It enables retirees to move here knowing that they are covered for care through their Social Security health plans. The American Adriatic Health Network acts as a bridge between the health plans and our doctors and hospitals.

Ten settlements each with 10,000 retirees developed over 10 years would significantly increase our local GDP.
