Assist.Prof. Vladimir Mozetič, MD, PhD was born in 1967 in Rijeka, Croatia. He graduated from the Medical Faculty in 1991. From 1992 to 2005 he worked at Department of Urology, University Hospital Center Rijeka, firstly as young resercher and afterwards urologist. Since 2006 he has been employed in private Medico Polyclinic in Rijeka, and from 2008 he was the director of the Polyclinic until 2016. Now is a director of the Community Health Center of the Primorsko-goranska County.
He completed his PhD degree in 2005 and was selected the scientific Educational Assistant Professor at the Medical Faculty in the fields of urology and menagement, and he also gained a specialization in the health care management as well as subspecialization in urologic oncology and andrology. He is a lecturer on Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Heath Studies and Faculty of Touristic and Hospitality Management - University in Rijeka. In 2013 he received annual award as „Project Manager“ from Croatian Manager Association and in 2015 he received annual award of City of Rijeka for the promotion of health tourism as important commercial field in region.
Dr. Mozetič is a member of the European Urological Association as well as the Governing Board of the Croatian Society of Urology. Dr. Mozetič was President of the County Committee of the Croatian Medical Chamber (2007-2015), the President of the Committee for Private Practice for the Croatian Medical Chamber (2011-2015). He is a member of the Council for Health of the regional County from 2012 and president of Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster as well as president of Section of Medical Tourism in Croatian Chamber of Economy. He is married and father of three children.
